IGRAC participates in Expert Meeting WMO Manual

Nienke Ansems, Researcher at IGRAC, has participated in the Experts Meeting for the preparation of WMO Manual on Water Resources Assessment (WRA). This meeting was held from 18 to 20 May 2015 in the headquarters of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in Geneva, Switzerland. Aside from this expert meeting, IGRAC Director Neno Kukuric met WMO Secretary-General Michel Jarraud to discuss close cooperation between both organisations. 

IGRAC contribution to World Water Development Report

IGRAC has contributed to the World Water Development Report 2015, which has been launched at the official celebration of the World Water Day, on 20 March 2015. IGRAC provided the Groundwater Development Stress (GDS) Map for the WWDR 2015, titled 'Water for a Sustainable World'. Moreover, IGRAC's map of arsenic traces in groundwater in Asia was included in the Case Studies and Indicators document titled 'Facing the Challenges'. 

IGRAC participated in 7th World Water Forum

The 7th World Water Forum was held in the Republic of Korea from 12 to 17 April 2015 and IGRAC participated in this major event as well. The World Water Forum is the world's largest meeting on water and is held every three years. At this 7th edition in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, IGRAC gave presentations at several sessions, organised the official launch of the 2015 Edition of its TBA Map and was being represented at the Expo & Fair.
