On 1-2 October 2018, the inception workshop for the ANBO project was organised in Hotel Fleur de Lys in Dakar, Senegal. IGRAC Researcher Arnaud Sterckx attended this workshop of the project ‘Strengthening the institutional capacity of African Network of Basin Organization (ANBO), contributing to the improved transboundary water governance in Africa’, which is the full project name. 

The Global Groundwater Monitoring Network (GGMN) is now connected to the Groundwater Information Network of Canada (GIN) through a SOS2.0 connection. This is the first time that GGMN is connected through the SOS2.0 system to another web application to retrieve groundwater levels monitoring data. The data are open and will be updated once per week.
