Why did you decide to join the Groundwater Correspondents Network?
"I am passionate about groundwater. The passion came about after I visited my birthplace in southwestern Uganda on the border between Uganda and Rwanda. My village is called Rwenyangye. While there, the entire community was using groundwater. This discovery ignited my love for this particular untapped resource in most parts of the country for saving the lives of my people. With this current opportunity, I look forward to telling more people-centered stories regarding groundwater."
Which topics would you like to cover during your period as a correspondent?
"I would like to cover Investigative pieces on cross-border aquifers shared by Uganda and human-centered stories on the day-to-day use of groundwater."
